Find a Song

So you were listening to WJHS and you heard a really awesome song... but what was it?!  Here's some tips to help you figure it out!  Still need some help?  Find out how to e-mail us below!


  GOOGLE THE LYRICS.
If you happened to catch a few of the lyrics, go to Google (or your favorite search engine) and type those lyrics into the search bar.  If it gives you too many options, you can always try putting quotation marks (") around the lyrics you entered into the search bar.  This will help the search engine find websites with those particular words strung together.

  WRITE DOWN THE TIME AND DATE.
When e-mailing us about a song, we can normally find the song in question if you can give us the time and date when the song played.  All we have to do then is check the playlist log and find the song that played at that particular time.

  TAKE AS MANY NOTES ABOUT THE SONG AS POSSIBLE.
The more you remember about the song, the better chance of finding out what it was!  Some things to take note of:
            Is the lead singer male or female?
            What were some of the lyrics? Take a guess at the chorus or title, which are typically the most repeated parts of a song.
            Was the song faster or slower paced?
            Was there a particular musical instrument that dominated the song?
